Rosa makes history as the very first individual to earn this prestigious black belt under the tutelage of Davies, marking a remarkable milestone in her martial arts journey.
With a reputation as a popular and prolific competitor in the UK and beyond, Rosa Walsh – McCann has consistently showcased her skills on the mat. In a stunning display of talent, she secured a significant victory just days before Ffion’s ADCC 2022 triumph, competing in the ADCC Open at the same event.
Rosa’s stellar performance led to a triumph in the under 65kg division, overcoming formidable opponents like Helena Crevar and Nathalie Ribeiro. This victory marked a defining moment in her career, signaling her readiness for the highest echelons of competition.
Her highest achievement to date is taking Gold in the woman’s middleweight No Gi division in European Championships in 2023.
Back in the UK, Rosa seized the opportunity to compete for the Grapplefest under 70kg title, where she continued her impressive streak. She made yet another resounding statement by clinching the title with a submission win over Gabi Schuck.
